Easy Chocolate Scones Recipe

What You Need:
680g all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
¾ tsp baking soda
50g sugar
1 tsp salt
170g cold unsalted butter (cubed or grated)
360ml buttermilk
80g chocolate chips
How to Make It:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2. Mix dry ingredientsIn a large bowl, whisk together:
Flour
Baking powder
Baking soda
Sugar
Salt
3. Add butter Add the cold butter and rub it in with your fingers until it looks crumbly.
4. Add chocolate chips Mix in the chocolate chips.
5. Add buttermilk Pour in the buttermilk and stir gently until it forms a soft dough.
6. Shape the dough Place the dough on a floured surface. Pat it into a circle (about 1 inch thick).Cut into wedges or rounds.
7. Bake Place on the tray and bake for 25–30 minutes, until lightly golden and firm.
8. Cool & Enjoy Let them cool a few minutes. Eat warm or save for later!
Quick Tips:
Use cold butter for flakier scones
Don’t mix too much—just until the dough comes together
Add more chocolate chips if you want extra indulgence!
