Classic Buttermilk Waffles

Ingredients:
60 g butter (melted)
20 g sugar
1 pinch of salt
1 sachet or 1 tsp vanilla sugar
2 eggs
125 g flour
0.5 tsp baking powder
125 ml buttermilk
Instructions:
Prep the Wet Mixture:
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt until pale and creamy.
Add the buttermilk and melted butter, and stir until well combined.
Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking powder.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, whisking until smooth (no lumps).
Cook the Waffles:
Preheat your waffle iron and lightly grease it if needed.
Pour in the batter (about 1 ladle or as per your waffle iron’s capacity).
Cook until golden brown and crisp.
Serve:
Serve warm with your favorite toppings: fresh fruit, syrup, powdered sugar, or whipped cream.
